Campus Extension and Extraordinary Closures
In spring 2024, a new building for the KHI will finally become operational at Via Gustavo Modena 13, about 600 meters from Via Giusti: a palazzo of around 2,000 square meters that will house the Photothek, part of the Library, two research groups, as well as seminar and social spaces. With the completion of work on the new building, which began in February 2021, the phase of moving and reorganizing the spaces in the KHI’s other premises in Florence (Palazzo Capponi Incontri Rosselli and Casa Zuccari in Via Giuseppe Giusti and Palazzo Grifoni Budini Gattai in Via dei Servi) now begins.
During the transfer of the library and photographic collections to the new palace, periods of closure or inaccessibility will be kept to a minimum and will be announced on this page with as much notice as possible. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation and remain available for questions or clarification at info@khi.fi.it.
